According to FEDERAL COPYRIGHT LAW, reproduction rights to a photograph remain with the photographer. Rockbrook Camera respects and adheres to copyright laws to protect photographer's work. We will not accept photographs with copyright marks by an individual photographer or studio without written consent. Marks may include logo, studio or photographer name, watermarked paper with "do not copy", or the copyright icon. It is the responsibility of the photographer to clearly notify their clients of copyrighted material through these markings.
Instances in which Rockbrook Camera will print copyrighted material:
1. Photographer has given a written consent to allow client to reproduce photographs.
2. In photo restoration projects, in which the photograph was created before 1979 and the studio most likely would not contest the restoration.
Rockbrook Camera is legally obligated to report sexually explicit images involving minors to the authorities.
